Montez G is an American bassist and artist from Town Creek, AL. Growing up in a musical family, Montez found his passion for the bass guitar at the age of 13, with church as the foundation of his musical education. In 2009, after moving to Orlando, his professional music career took off when he began touring with 4x Grammy Award-winning artist and producer Trae Pierce & Sugarfoot's Ohio Players developing his business and musical skills on the bass guitar. In 2015, Montez co-founded the Orlando-based pop/rock band G.W. Souther, where much of his original music thrives. Now based in Texas, he collaborates with a variety of artists and records for TV and film.
